Description
Traditions in Felicities was a temporary exhibition in 2013 created by the Royal British Columbia Museum in partnership with Victoria’s Chinatown community. This is a short digital version that captures elements of this exhibition, including the unique artifact Chinese Freemasons Lantern from the Royal BC Museum collection, its conservation work and digital animation, oral stories about lives in the 1930s Chinatown and BC Archives photos, in honor of Victoria’s Chinatown history – the origin of Chinese Canadian history.
