Silver. Intricate and lacy on the front, open to a beautiful oxidized dome on the back, then brushed with a matte finish on the exterior. The colours achieved with oxidization are truly remarkable – blues, purples and pinks.

This stunning pendant is 23mm in diameter and hangs from an 18″ sterling snake chain. The colourful oxidization on the interior is a delicate patina and should not be cleaned, polished, or worn in the shower. The colour will last years if the jewellery is kept properly! Slight colour variations in the oxidization with each pair.

Nina Turczyn is a Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Silversmith originally from Ontario, who now calls beautiful Gabriola Island, BC home.

My work is inspired by clean lines, symmetry, and beautiful simplicity in nature and art. I truly admire quality craftsmanship and attention to detail and I work to infuse these sensibilities into my pieces. I approach silversmithing as creating wearable art, or small sculptures for the body – practical, unembellished, yet beautifully crafted and timeless in design.
