Each box contains a 4 oz (113 g) gold foil pouch of wild smoked sockeye salmon. Sockeye is the reddest and most sought-after species of wild Canadian salmon. Boxes are hand-silkscreened with a graphic depicting two salmon, male and female, with the egg held between the tail fins. The graphic was designed for SeaChange by Haida artist Don Yeomans. These boxes are classic, authentic gifts from Canada.

The Royal Museum Shop is operated by the Royal BC Museum Foundation. All proceeds from the sale of merchandise go directly towards supporting the many fine programs and special events at the Royal BC Museum.

Contains wild sockeye salmon, produced in Canada by SeaChange Seafoods, a member of Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise program. Ocean Wise is a conservation program created to educate and empower consumers about the issues surrounding sustainable seafood. This salmon travels well in a suitcase or in the mail, and there is no need for refrigeration prior to opening in any climate.   It is an excellent gift for both women and men.  The keepsake cedar box is made in Canada.
